The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Loyola
University Maryland is seeking a full-time Lecturer of Spanish to
teach in the department (4/4 load) for AY 2021-22. Position duties
include teaching in the core language sequence (SN 101-104), as
well as providing service to the department and University. The
search committee is especially interested in candidates who will
contribute to LUM's stated goal of equity and inclusion of the
academic community. Successful candidates must have at least a
Master's degree or equivalent in Spanish, must have native or
near-native fluency in Spanish, and must have college teaching
experience. The successful candidate must possess an awareness of
and interest in high impact practices in line with the mission of
Jesuit higher education.Applicants must submit the following online
