Qualifications:
MKT-805-01, Business Communication for Data Analytics

First half of Summer Quarter 2021, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, Saturday 1:30 PM to 5:30PM

Modality: Online/In-person (with Hyflex) on the Moraga Campus. Applicant must reside in California.

In this course students will learn how to construct arguments using quantitative data for a variety of audiences. It provides essential concepts in the formal study of argument theory, including enthymemes and syllogisms, audience analysis, and organization. Topics include: how to analyze various audiences’ needs, write about data for various audiences, defend their data using formal arguments, write clearly and concisely and construct an argument.

Qualifications

- Ph.D. degree in Business Communication or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR

- A Masters degree in Business Communication or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
