Title: Administrative Associate
Location: Cookeville Center
Position Summary: The primary function of this position is to provide support to the Cookeville Center Director and to oversee the general operations of the office and the site for efficiency and effectiveness in serving students and faculty. This position also is the first point of contact in receiving and directing callers and visitors to the Campus.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assists the Director in the day-to-day operation of the site. Answers student and community inquiries regarding the campus; answers switchboard/telephone calls; greets and directs visitors; distributes site information, assists students and directs them to academic advisors. Collaborates with the Office of Records and Registration to assist students and is responsible for entry of drop/add process. Assists all faculty (adjunct and full-time) and staff who serve at the site as they provide service to the students and the community. Staffs and maintains the Front Desk operations. Composes correspondence, prepares forms and operational records for purchases, payroll, budgets, personnel actions, grants, and audits. Uses the EMS system for various room scheduling at the campus. Maintains a working knowledge of College policies and procedures, including those relating to Student Rights and Responsibilities. Maintains office filing system and secure files, travel requests and payroll records. Purchases and maintains supplies. Schedules and records staff meetings; maintains meeting minutes. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree. Experience in higher education.

Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of administrative procedures. Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. Be committed to a positive customer service philosophy. Must be detail oriented, highly organized and self-motivated.
Pay Rate: 26,940.00 - 32,330.00 annual salary depending on experience
