Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a one-year visiting position at the rank of Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 30, 2021.

 Minimum Qualifications:

 Applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science (or a related field) for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or an M.S. in Computer Science for appointment at the rank of Instructor.

 Responsibilities:

 Applicants must be committed to high quality teaching at the undergraduate level in a small liberal arts environment and demonstrate experience or interest working with students from diverse backgrounds. The successful applicant would be expected to teach introductory level

computer science major and general education courses, with the possibility of teaching an elective in their area of interest. The teaching load is 24 contact hours (including laboratory hours) for the year.

 Randolph-Macon College, founded in 1830, is a selective, primarily residential liberal arts college with an enrollment of 1500 students located in the northern suburbs of Richmond, Virginia. It is 90 miles south of Washington, DC and 15 miles north of Richmond.
