Base Pay: $81,097.00. Offer amount based on candidate's education and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains effective partnerships with businesses, agencies, industries, faculty, and staff in the identification of training needs, including conducting quantitative and qualitative training needs assessments, and development of customized workforce solutions.

Serves as the institutional liaison to local, state and federal economic and workforce training agencies and employer partner organizations.

Collaborates with K-12 system, particularly secondary institutions, to create dual enrollment career pathways.

Researches and prepares occupational forecasting, workforce demands and trends, special studies and surveys. Prepares required reports for various internal and external requests. Reviews and revises reports and documents for accuracy and completeness.

Guides, leads, reviews, verifies, observes, and manages the work of people reporting directly and indirectly to you.

Ensures that a commitment to diversity and inclusion is visible in all aspects of the division's operations.

Counsels employees on company policies, procedures and practices to ensure a sound employee relation environment. Guides professional development and provides motivation and mentoring to team members.

Develops short-term and long-range goals, objectives, priorities, and recommendations in support of the College’s strategic plan.

Provides oversight and monitors projects with attention to administrative details. Prepares for and participates in faculty and staff meetings and committees.

Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices. This activity includes developing and maintaining manuals regarding policies, procedures, rules, standards for the College, and regional and program accrediting agencies.

Responds to complex inquiries from all levels of employees or external sources regarding a variety of questions, such as clarification of College or Campus policy and procedures.

Conducts all tasks related to the preparation of the annual and other periodic budgets for a department, campus, or college.

Analyzes class and program needs of the College. Determines and recommend the retention or deletion of courses.

Assists faculty in the development of course and program curriculum, program and course reviews and articulation activities.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
-
Master’s degree within specific subject area related to the position
-
Eight years of related experience, to include administrative, curriculum development and strong community relations experience
-
Grant administration experience
-
Program budget experience
Knowledge of:
-
Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
-
Best practices in higher education pedagogy
Skilled in:
-
Thinking strategically, effectively analyzing data, and implementing data-informed decisions

Managing and resolving conflict in a positive manner
-
Fact finding, analysis, and problem solving

Motivating subordinates to exert the effort necessary to attain organizational and departmental goals

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

Doctorate degree

Direct experience working with Vocational Educational Programs, Certificate Programs, Industry Certifications, Career Placement, AS Degrees, to include Business, Computer Science or Public Safety

Experience working with apprenticeship programs
