Full-Time Temporary Instructor in Mathematics - Framingham State University

The Framingham State University Mathematics Department invites applications for a full-time temporary instructor position to be held during academic year 2021-2022. Responsibilities include teaching three sections of introductory-level mathematics and/or statistics courses each semester and holding three office hours per week. We seek an enthusiastic, committed teacher that will engage students in our liberal arts university setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• M.S. in Mathematics or related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to principles of diversity, inclusion, and social justice in higher education.
• Commitment to the development of an anti-racist pedagogy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field.
• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level.

This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position in the Massachusetts State College Association (MSCA) bargaining unit at the rank of Assistant Professor. Salary commensurate with experience in accordance with Appendix O of the MSCA contract (http://mscaunion.org/day-and-dgce-contracts/)
