Ca’ Foscari is offering a permanent position of Associate Professor in Electronic engineering to a scholar who can raise the challenge of inspiring students to be game-changers and make a genuine difference in the world.

The successful candidate will have to carry out teaching activities within the disciplines relevant to the aforementioned academic discipline and with the didactic needs of the Department e.g. in the following courses:

-           Fondamenti di Elettronica (Electronics)

-           Circuiti e Misure Elettroniche (Electronic Circuits and Measurements)

-           Fondamenti di Automatica (Control Systems)

The research activity will be focused on the study, design and engineering of components, reading circuits and materials for microelectronics and sensor technology, useful in various fields of scientific or industrial application. The activity should also include performance measurement, characterization and analytical and mathematical modeling of the components.

The position is at the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems. The Department aims to stimulate research development and scientific education and is characterized by its research in innovative fields. The Department also interacts with local manufacturing firms and businesses, given the importance of its research on sustainability themes. The education focuses on both established research areas and more innovative ones like renewable energy sources, green chemistry, nanotechnologies and biotechnologies.

The Department is part of the Interdepartmental Centre of Services for Experimental Disciplines.The educational pathways offered by the Department are designed to implement the strong interaction between the university and the job market, using a blend of traditional methods and new Lifelong Learning projects (LLP).
