The Manager, IT Project Management is a member of the Strategic Planning, Implementation, and Education Services (SPIES) Department within ITS. The manager will supervise Project Portfolio Management staff responsible for managing division portfolios and critical projects where ITS resources are needed and/or allocated, while working closely with SPIES leadership, ITS leadership, and our university business partners. This key position will be looked to for maintaining enterprise portfolio health, establishing new and improve existing PPM processes, managing project and portfolio risk, and advocating for the adoption of project management best practice across the enterprise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; AND,
  • 2-4 years of project management experience; AND,
  • Project management qualification or equivalent credential; OR,
  • A combination of related education, experience, and training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification, or additional coursework in PM.
