This senior position will lead and manage NMH alumni relations, including programming, volunteer management, and associated communications.  Of highest institutional importance is for this position to initiate and lead the organization of a career development and professional networking program for alumni and students.  The alumni director must possess strong leadership, organization, and an enterprising spirit in order to work with the Chief Development Officer, fellow Advancement Directors, campus colleagues, and a developed network of alumni volunteers, both within and outside current structures, to bring about new and stronger relationships between the school, alumni, and students.   

 

The successful applicant will have a bachelor’s degree. Experience working within the field of Advancement is preferred. Candidates must have superior organization skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and oral communication skills required along with highly developed interpersonal and listening skills; able to to create and sustain good relationships with NMH constituents and colleagues across the school. The ability to apply good judgement and decision making skills and maintain confidentiality is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google products preferred and experience with Slate or comparable donor databases is highly desired. Additional qualifications include the ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as being a self-starter capable of working independently. This position requires willingness and the ability to travel; some weekend and evening work required. Valid driver’s license required.
