Manhattanville College seeks a dynamic and creative enrollment strategist for the role of Vice President for Admissions and Marketing. Reporting to President Michael Geisler, the Vice President for Admissions and Marketing will be part of the institution’s leadership team as it charts innovative and bold directions for the College in the next decade. The Vice President for Admissions and Marketing will provide innovative and strategic leadership in identifying and achieving overall enrollment goals and shaping the direction of Manhattanville’s admissions culture and landscape. 

The Vice President for Admissions and Marketing oversees all admissions for the College, including the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as in the area of continuing education/lifelong learning. The Vice President also works closely with the Assistant Vice President for Communications and Marketing to develop competitive marketing approaches to attract applicants locally, nationally, and internationally and design and implement an enrollment marketing plan, including recruiting materials and communications for a variety of market segments. The Vice President will play an essential role in creating strategies, policies, and practices that enhance the admissions cycle - from recruitment to application to admission to matriculation - of a diverse student body that includes approximately 2400 undergraduate and graduate students. They will oversee a team of nineteen and an operating budget of $2.5 million. 

Candidates should have substantial experience in admissions and financial aid management, a record of enrollment success, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, yet collaborative, environment. Experience with reporting software and information systems such as Colleague, TargetX, or Slate is expected. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of the evolving higher education enrollment landscape, student demographic and market trends, and marketing strategies and tactics. In addition, candidates must have a demonstrated interest in and commitment to diversity and inclusion in all forms; community involvement; globalization; and leadership development.  

Founded in 1841, Manhattanville College is an independent liberal arts institution dedicated to academic excellence, purposeful education, and social justice. Manhattanville offers more than 90 undergraduate and graduate areas of studies in the arts and sciences, education, business, nursing and health sciences, professional studies, and more, as well as continuing and executive education programs. Extracurricular offerings include more than 40 clubs and organizations and 21 NCAA Division III athletic teams. The campus is located in thriving Westchester County, New York and just 40 minutes from Manhattan, enabling easy access to extensive entertainment offerings, educational resources, and business opportunities.
