Assistant/ Associate Professor Physics

 Job description/ duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Teach basic and advanced didactic and laboratory courses for undergraduates in physics.
2. Advise major students on all matters that relate to their course registration and academic success.
3. Develop physics program curriculum, jointly with head of department; and contribute to ongoing program review, assessment, and evaluation.
4. Set up physics labs and supervise lab instruction.
5. Prepare physics labs’ manual as needed.
6. Develop program marketing materials and assist in recruitment activities.
7. Participate in scholarly activities, university and public service, as appropriate.

Qualifications:  Candidate must have

1. PhD in physics from an accredited North American university
2. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience post- graduation in a college/ university setting
3. Familiarity with American system of higher education
