In collaboration with Academic Affairs through the Division of Extended Studies to ensure the fiscal policies as well as academic policies are maintained.

 

 Description of Job: Oversees all day-to-day operations of the Testing Center, including Administers, proctors, scores and transmits results of all tests, as supervising the Testing Center Coordinator.  Works with the Coordinator position to develop and update services, policies and procedures in response to changing demands. Including serves as the designated testing representative for external partners.

Primary Duties

Operations: Oversees all day-to-day operations of the Testing Center, including supervising the Testing Center Coordinator.  Works with the Coordinator position to develop and update services, policies and procedures in response to changing demands. Oversees the coordinator who trains, schedules and directs the work of other Testing Center staff, including hiring and supervision of work-study personnel. Schedules and publicizes services, communicates program policies/procedures to campus and community and maintains integrity of testing environment.
 
Outside Agency Coordination: Serves as the designated Testing representative for outside testing exams.  Follows federal and state regulations and policies and ensures compliance with regulations and test security. Will also be the point of contact (POC) for exterior Testing Centers on other campuses or facilities Trains alternate examiners, serves as liaison with CDHE. Regularly updates and maintains student records and testing scores for admission and placement exams. Maintains security of tests and materials by routinely inventorying materials, reviewing procedures for security, ensuring secure storage and returning all test booklets and related materials to appropriate testing companies.
 
Administration: Administers, proctors, scores and transmits results of all tests administered by the Testing Center. Observes college, state/federal, and test agency policies and procedures for security/confidentiality of testing records; includes adherence to FERPA as it relates to CSU Pueblo policies. Represents the Testing Center on appropriate student services meetings on CSU Pueblo committee, including meeting with the Dean of Extended on the maintaining the relationship with academic testing requirements. 
 
Academic Support & Code of Conduct Support: Act as the formal proctor of record for on and off campus exams, as well as coordinate the use of testing software including ProctorU or Respondus or other exam software designated by campus departments as required. Coordinates any academic dishonesty issues directly with Director of Student Conduct, including providing documentation of incidents in writing and formalize any other documentation for review for Student Conduct appeal process. Provides special proctor services for other departments, outside certification agencies or other colleges and universities. Follows guidelines for maintaining general test security. Follows any special instructions particular to individual test situations. Forwards results as required.
 
Data Management & Fiscal Responsibility: Maintains Testing Center statistics including number of people tested, number of tests given and type of tests.  Prepares monthly and annual reports and makes recommendations to the supervisor concerning staffing and programming implications. Organizes, maintains and tracks budget for testing services, as well as campus testing services and works directly with the Director of the Operations in Extended Studies for account review, including revenues and expenses.  Assures program is equipped with materials and resources necessary for services.  Initiates all purchasing of supplies and materials related to the program. Carries out billing procedures of external agencies, when appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience in Assessments

  • Worked in Education (secondary or post secondary)
