The Department of Health, Human Function, and Rehabilitation Sciences at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences welcomes applications for a full-time time (12 month), non tenure-track faculty position. The Program is located in a state of the art facility in the heart of Washington, D.C. The University provides a dynamic academic environment, which fosters strong collaborative and interprofessional efforts within the University and beyond.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching primarily in courses addressing physical therapist management of neuromotor and cardiac dysfunction.  Additionally, faculty are expected to engage in program, university, community and professional service, and mentor students and post-professional residents in collaboration with clinical partners.  The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research agenda that aligns with department goals. This is a 12-month non-tenure earning position.  Salary, rank, and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Total compensation includes a generous benefits package.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a clinical doctorate (DPT) with certification in neurological physical therapy at the time of appointment.; must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practice physical therapy in the District of Columbia.
