Director, Nursing (B.S.) Program

Plaza College is seeking a Doctoral prepared nurse educator for the role of Director of its newly-approved Bachelor of Science degree program in Nursing.  This position reports directly to the Dean.

Under the leadership of the Dean, the Director is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day success of the nursing students and faculty. Duties include the implementation of program curricula; scheduling and staffing classes; working with the clinical coordinator on evaluating clinical rotation sites and experiences; executing the simulation center; academic advising and career-related counseling for students; monitoring student retention and identifying and assisting at-risk students; and ensuring that accreditation standards are met at all times.
