- Draft manuals of operations and data collection forms
- Develop data management system in REDCap
- Review protocols and informed consent statements
- Monitor clinic performance through monthly performance reports and database edits
- Plan, organize, and create meeting agendas, materials, and draft minutes for various meetings, including: Steering Committee, Staff, Publications, etc.
- Maintain study websites
- Review manuscripts, track manuscripts from submission through publication, monitor NIHMS compliance
- Assist with the histology repository for the HIV NASH CRN
- Monitor clinical center personnel and site certification
- Using SAS or other statistical software, run reports, create datasets, and create graphical data summaries
- Abilities needed: Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail required. Ability to work in a team environment; ability to manage multiple and competing priorities; knowledge of clinical research practices and principles preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in related disciplinerequired.
- Three (3) years of related experience required.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
JHU Equivalency Formula:18 graduate degree credits (semester hours) may substitute for one year of experience. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicants with knowledge of SAS, Stata, and/or REDCap are preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Project coordination experience in NIH-grant supported setting a plus.
- Technical qualifications or specialized certifications: Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with Adobe Acrobat.
Schedule: Monday-Friday –8:30am-5:00pm 37.5hrs/Wk

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.
