Job Summary:
The Director of PeopleSoft Applications is responsible for the day to day management and support of the PeopleSoft HR, Finance and Campus Solutions/Student Systems. This position draws on experience and/or expert resources with in-depth knowledge of the business to provide college-wide solutions, by managing complex, multi-faceted ERP software applications including the integrations to other custom and/or COTS systems. The position directs and manages the development and deployment of secured and high availability information systems to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations and safeguard MDC's information assets. The Director PeopleSoft Applications provides leadership and expertise and assists in developing and managing a future PeopleSoft Center of Excellence at Miami Dade College.
Minimum Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a closely related
field
•Minimum nine (9) years of progressive experience in managing
PeopleSoft ERP
•Four (4) years of supervisory responsibility managing midsize to
large IT teams
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and
objectives, and policies and procedures
•Broad PeopleSoft techno-functional experience in assigned HR,
Finance or Campus Solutions applications
•Broad IT computing and infrastructure knowledge and the ability to
proactively gather and recommend relevant changes
•In-depth knowledge in software development methodologies
