The University of Florida, Department of Medicine, and Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a tenure or non-tenure track, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor with innovative leadership skills and good interpersonal skills to become an active and integral member of the Division and the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center. Most academic activities take place at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, a tertiary care teaching hospital directly across the street from the University of Florida, College of Medicine. The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System, of which the Malcolm Randall VAMC is the flagship hospital, is an integral part of the educational and research mission of the University of Florida, College of Medicine. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

Applicants should have a record of distinguished accomplishments and proficiency in clinical duties, administration, and clinical investigation to include mentoring new physicians, fostering a progressive and dynamic work environment, and promoting teaching and research. Responsibilities will include cardiac services at both Shand's Hospital at the University of Florida and at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center. Clinical duties will include performance and teaching in general cardiology at both institutions, cardiac research, as well as outpatient clinic duties at the University or VA clinics.
