Eat Smart Idaho Nutrition Instructor Intern
Location: Off Campus Location - Pocatello

Position Summary:
Summer internship - Eat Smart Idaho Nutrition Instructor.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have completed a minimum of one semester (12 credits) at an Idaho public university OR an Idaho public university college student and currently enrolled for the next semester. Priority will be given to UI student applicants.
• Must have completed a minimum of 12 credits within the last year (these 12 credits may come from high school dual enrollment credits) and are currently enrolled at one of the following eight Idaho public universities or colleges (private Idaho universities or colleges do not qualify). Priority will be given to UI student applicants.

- Idaho State University
- Boise State University
- Lewis-Clark State College
- College of Southern Idaho
- College of Western Idaho
- College of Eastern Idaho
- North Idaho College
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must provide own transportation and have the ability to travel to multiple work sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Completed coursework in Agriculture, Education, Science, Human Development, Family and Consumer Sciences, Food Safety, Food Science, Technology, Nutrition, Multicultural Studies or other relevant subject areas.
• Outgoing and comfortable working with the public (youth and adults) and volunteers.
• Self-motivated and works independently.
• Experience answering phones, responding to email, and communicating through social media.
• Enjoys working in a variety of settings and environments with diverse audiences.
