EXECUTIVE VICE CHANCELLOR FOR ACADEMIC AND STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Office of the Chancellor of the California State University System (CSU), the largest, most diverse university system in the United States, seeks a highly skilled and experienced educational leader to serve as Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs (EVC-ASA). Reporting to the Chancellor, the successful candidate for this extraordinary opportunity will oversee a team of more than 140 employees, with 11 direct reports and a budget of approximately $80 million. The 23 CSU campuses span California and collectively enroll some 486,000 students, making it the largest four-year comprehensive public higher education system in the world.

 

This position marks an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic, strategic and mission-driven leader with significant broad higher education leadership experience to direct a complex, multi-unit organization. The Division of Academic and Student Affairs is at the helm of the academic and student success growth and excellence of the CSU as it seeks to achieve a new tier of academic excellence, access, attainment, and success for the citizens of California.
