The faculty member will teach courses primarily in medical-surgical and geriatric nursing at various levels in the program.  Responsibilities will include teaching lecture, lab, and clinical components of courses in the program; participation in nursing curriculum development and assessment including program review; assess student achievement; and advise students in curricular and discipline-related matters when appropriate. The faculty member will participate in College governance; engage in scholarship and professional growth; support the LCCC mission, vision and values; and pursue and attain tenure. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel to various lab and clinical sites off main campus.

The salary is commensurate with experience and supported by a comprehensive fringe benefits package.

Required Qualifications: Graduation from a approved registered nursing education program; current, valid licensure as an RN in the state of Ohio; At least 2 yeas in practice as an RN. Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Preferred Qualificiations: Master's degree in nursing preferred. Strong, current clinical experience; previous experience teaching in theory, lab, and clinical settings. Experience with distance learning education.
