ODUOnline is seeking candidates for the Online Business Analyst and Project Coordinator (full-time, 12 month) position. This position will work with the AVP and others in the Planning and Development unit and across the organization to provide analytical and project management support for new business practices and processes associated with the various functional areas in the Office of Distance Learning. Working with leadership, this position will help interpret the business needs and work-flow implications to inform the application and operational requirements of new initiatives and will oversee the adoption of new tools and approaches in order to meet the needs of the organization and improve the support services provided to faculty and students.

Required Education: Master’s degree in business, higher education, or similar area or a bachelor’s degree, in the same fields of study, with equivalent related experience to equate to a master’s degree may be substituted.

Required Qualifications: Working experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting and presenting information in a clear, concise and actionable way. Working experience identifying and acquiring the appropriate data and distilling it down to actionable information. Working experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Working experience in effectively monitoring and communicating (written/oral) project status, tasks, and timelines to all stakeholders. Considerable experience developing strategies and specifications for projects and developing project status reports. Considerable experience in maintaining strong, collaborative working relationships with project teams. Some knowledge of planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. Some knowledge of business intelligence and data analytics tools. Some knowledge of principles, practices, and processes used to interpret a customer or unit business need and translate them into application and operational requirements. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and to be self-directed. Ability to work collaboratively with other decision analytics and business process researchers.

Preferred Qualifications: Some experience with distance learning/online learning. Some experience supporting business/partner development projects. Working experience in business process analysis and/or market analysis. Considerable experience working in a higher education setting.

Conditions of Employment: This position is fully remote and does not require an on-campus presence.
