Associate Director, Admissions

Job Summary

This position is responsible for organizing and implementing timely and strategic delivery of communications for the recruitment and Admissions of Students. Manages the inputting of data for the admissions office, processing of applications, communications for recruitment outreach and reporting data integrity.

Oversees and coordinates direct mail through use of communications, email, and text messaging campaigns, using SLATE, Admit Hub and Banner. Will provide timely and accurate delivery of admissions materials to prospective students from the inquiry stage through enrollment.

Supervises and provides support to four clerical staff members, monitors workloads, approves exceptions to work schedules and routines. Will motivate staff to maintain high levels of efficiency.

Runs applicant reports and coordinates daily communications with prospects, inquiries, applicants and admitted students. Responds to inquiries for statistics on current year applicant pool and previous years enrollment trends and statistics. Manages student workers to assist with these duties. Manages tele counseling call jobs for applicants and admitted students. Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Admissions.

Schedules, coordinates and implements daily communications with prospects, inquiries, applicants and admitted students through use of bulk mail, email, and text messaging campaigns using SLATE, Admit Hub and Banner.

Reporting - 15
Runs applicant reports and coordinates daily communications with prospects, inquiries, applicants and admitted students. Responds to inquires for statistics on current year applicant pool and previous years enrollment trends and statistics.

Other - 10
Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Admissions.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree

Other Required Qualifications
Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office programs; social media; Banner, SLATE and Admit Hub.

Required Experience
One year of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES

  • Detailed knowledge and use of web based analytical software; Microsoft Office suite, Outlook mail systems, Banner, SLATE and Admit Hub; Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees.
  • Ability to confidently and accurately communicate with internal and external constituents in written and verbal communications.
