The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) Department of Oral Biology is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The incumbent will work closely with College of Dentistry faculty and will be expected to establish collaborations with other Colleges, Institutes and Centers at the University. In addition to maintaining a robust research program, duties will include service activities as well as teaching, training, and mentoring DMD and PhD students; clinical assignments may also be available. UFCD is one of the leading dental schools in the United States devoted to improving and promoting oral health throughout Florida, the nation and worldwide through excellence in teaching, research, patient care and service.

Applicants must have a demonstrated record of expertise and productivity in areas that may include pathogen biology and host/pathogen interactions, cellular biology, inflammation and immunology, or cancer. Minimum requirements include individuals with a PhD or equivalent, or holding both a DDS/DMD or MD and PhD. Applicants for Associate Professor should have a demonstrated ability to develop an independent and interactive research program with a strong and consistent record of external funding and quality peer-reviewed publications.

Salary and academic rank are commensurate with credentials and experience.
