Position Description Summary

STEAM Instructors are professionals who conduct the division’s multitude of outreach and engagement activities with customers and partners across the region. This position will be primarily focused on instructional tasks – curriculum development, delivery of instruction, assessment and evaluation. STEAM Instructors operate independently with minimal supervision and collaborate intentionally with colleagues across the division and across the university.

Required Qualifications

A. Minimum educational requirements.
• Master’s degree required,

B. Minimum experience requirements.
• Five years’ experience as a post-secondary or secondary instructor
• Professional presentations in a STEM / STEAM or educational field
• Five years’ demonstration of ability to manage and lead a team to produce high quality STEM / STEAM programming, curriculum, instruction and/or assessment.

C. Licensing or Certification Required
 Teacher certification in a STEAM field, required

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate preferred
K-12 administrative licensure preferred

8 - 4:30 Monday - Friday; evenings and weekends as needed
