ResponsibilitiesMercer University School of Medicine invites applications for a salaried, twelve-month, non-tenure-track faculty position to serve as the Director of Evaluation and Assessment. This position on our Columbus, Georgia campus supports MD program continuous quality improvement and accreditation and contributes to student education and faculty development. The successful candidate will be expected to have strong communication skills and a collaborative work ethic with faculty and staff across the three academic campuses of the medical school. School of Medicine faculty are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, scholarship and service according to their promotion track.
QualificationsApplicants should have a doctoral degree from an accredited college/university with credentials or experience in academic program evaluation and assessment. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in three or more of the following areas: qualitative and mixed research methods, applied statistics, applied demography, global information systems, public health research, psychometric analysis, and/or data management.
Background CheckSelection of the final candidate is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
