The Department of World Languages, Literatures, & Cultures is seeking an Instructor to teach elementary and intermediate level German courses as assigned by the department. This position will support student activities relating to German Studies and if sufficiently qualified, teach German courses on the advanced level. 

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in German or related area. 

Preferred Qualifications
PhD in German or related area
Years Experience: 2
Specific Experience: Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching; familiarity with current language pedagogy; near-native fluency in German.  Additional Qualifications Desired: training in applied linguistics or methodologies of second-language acquisition; Experience at college or university level.
