Director of Assessment

Southern College of Optometry, one of the nation’s leading colleges of optometric education located in Memphis, Tennessee, is currently recruiting for a Director of Assessment. 

The Director of Assessment will develop, implement, and lead the College’s institutional assessment processes and assist all academic programs and academic and student support services in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of their outcomes.  The Director of Assessment will assist administrative offices of the College in planning processes and will be substantially involved in program and institutional accreditation processes.  This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

ABOUT MEMPHIS

Memphis is a city located on the Mississippi River in southwestern Shelby County, Tennessee.  Its estimated 2019 population is 651,037, making it the second most populous city behind Nashville.
