Executive Assistant to the Upper School Principal Department: Upper School Location: Washington, DC

Sidwell Friends, a coeducational Quaker day school with campuses in Washington D.C. and Bethesda seeks a full-time Executive Assistant to the Upper School Principal on the Northwest Washington D.C. campus. The Executive Assistant performs various high-level administrative tasks in support of the Upper School Principal and the Upper School Faculty and Staff.
Strong candidates will be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills, along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. This position requires a person who is a self-starter and able to work independently within the framework of assigned projects. The ability to maintain confidential information with a high level of sensitivity and discretion is a requirement. The Executive Assistant is in regular communication with senior administrators, parents, alumni, students, and members of the Board of Trustees and therefore must possess exceptional professional communication skills, tact, and judgment.
Strong technological skills are required, including a mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. A bachelors degree is also required (masters preferred), as well as a minimum of five years of experience in office management and/or administration. This position is an office-based role and thus requires working on site daily.
