Purpose of Position

Ensure the effective delivery of communication plans to recruit and yield undergraduate students (email, direct mail, social media and telecounseling follow up). Lead the development of recruitment materials, publications, letters, brochures and PowerPoint/Prezi and video presentations in conjunction with the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Implement the undergraduate communication plan by managing CRM tools for recruitment/communication and campus visits using Slate. Test and implement product upgrades.

Execute daily import and export data between databases utilizing a data-bridge. Write and run CRM reports and assist with analyzing data trends. Assist in developing policies and procedures for the CRM system and coordinate these policies within university users.

Lead team responsible for training CRM users on data entry (to ensure accurate data entry and mail services) and report functions. Provide data feeds to mail room and departments for recruitment mailings.

Oversee the use of social media within the department. Provide direction for web content and development for Undergraduate Admissions and several campus partners.

Supervise admissions coordinators/admission counselors and marketing interns.

Manage an assigned recruitment territory. Counsel students and parents about post secondary educational options and recruit them to NKU ; conduct individual and group information sessions and provide occasional tours of campus; represent NKU at high school and college day/night programs; assist with general recruitment and admissions office duties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute communication plans in CRM tools.
• Plan and execute the telecounseling outreach efforts utilizing current NKU students, faculty and staff members.
• Responsible for development, creation and distribution of recruitment publications.
• Oversee social media efforts.
• Maintain department and campus partner web content.
• Work with IT representatives for programming needs.
• Import daily feeds from SAP database.
• Supervise Coordinators/admission counselors and marketing interns.
• Execute selected recruitment programs.
• Develop PowerPoint/Prezi presentations and recruitment videos.
• Coordinate reporting and data analysis for CRM and website traffic.
• Serve as liaison with Student Financial Assistance and Testing Services.
• Provide pre-admission counseling to families and prospective students to include assisting students and families who are visiting campus.
• Evaluate freshmen applicants and make admission decisions.
• Reply to student inquiries via mail, phone calls, and other recruitment activities.
• Keep open communication with guidance counselors in territory.
• Recruit students via school visits, college programs, receptions, and special programs in secondary. schools.
• Position is responsible for meeting application, admit and enrollment targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience required.

Slate Experience is preferred.

Experience managing marketing publications, communication plans, websites, social media campaigns, digital marketing campaigns, development and delivery of presentations, database management, desire to work with prospective students.

Experience working with a Client Relationship Management System (Slate) is preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
