Position Summary

The Department of Psychology is seeking a part time lab manager who will coordinate running studies on compassion and goal commitment while also having opportunities to conduct their own research.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
• Train and supervise research assistants
• Maintain lab and equipment
• Schedule research sessions
• Keep records
• Communicate with team members
• Generate new ideas

We anticipate that academic year 2021/2022 will be an exciting time to be in our lab, in the Psychology Department, and at UB as this lab and research university get back to business. We are excited to bring on a new team member to help us with this exciting and refreshing transition.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or closely related field.
• Requires high levels of conscientiousness, strong communication and analytic skills, and high motivation to learn.
