A.T. Still University is seeking Administrative Support for the Admissions department on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Residential Admissions. Administrative Support will assist with ordering, stocking, and monitoring supplies, event planning/organizing preparation and organization of interview days, and help to monitor and organize the many spreadsheets required during the interview process.

Job Purpose:
  • Pre-screen applications for SOMA, ASDOH, and some ASHS programs
  • Assist with preparation for interviews including scheduling, name-badges, packets, pre-requisite check sheets, data entry of interview notes
  • Assist with event planning/organizing of special events such as white coat, graduation, open house and receptions
  • Assist with inventory records of materials and reordering

  • Set up and monitor Interview Day calendar, invitations to interview, and attends committee meetings when needed

  • Keep maintenance records for ATSU van

Major job duties include:
  • Prepare applicant correspondence with the use of the lead management system
  • Collect survey data and submit reports as approved or requested
  • Assist with re-printing, updating and re-ordering of recruitment materials; keeping inventory
  • Prescreening applicant files for residential programs
  • Send the retention posters to new admits and swag to prospective inquiries
Skills/Requirements:
  • High school/GED plus 1 year technical schooling or training required, or equivalent experience in admissions
  • Recommended: Graduate Admissions Processes with emphasis on electronic student management systems
  • 2- 3 years computer experience including Microsoft office products
  • Moderate to advanced computer ability i.e., ability to create Excel worksheets, Word documents, Google docs
  • Able to multi-task
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and offer creativity to complete assigned projects
  • Ability to work and promote diversity within the university and staff
