The Department of International Relations, Keimyung Adams College is searching for full-time faculties.

Keimyung Adams College (KAC) is Keimyung’s international honors college. KAC offers degrees in International Business and International Relations to both Korean and international students, all in English. To continue its success and excellence in teaching, KAC is currently seeking new faculty members.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Required Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate is expected to be fully committed to achieving excellence in teaching and academia, able to complement existing faculty, and willing to collaborate with faculty from other colleges and departments as deemed appropriate.

 

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in International Relations

Applications are invited for appointment as a Tenure-Track Assistant /Associate Professor in the International Relations (IR) in the Keimyung Adams College. Applicants should have a LLM or equivalent/ higher law degree or Ph.D. in political science/international relatins/economics with J.D. degree. The appointee is expected to teach undergraduate. Teaching experience or working experience in international organizations will be preferred but not required. 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The successful candidates for tenure-track positions will primarily be responsible for normal teaching load of minimum 9 hours per week, and also required to evaluate, advise undergraduate students, provide service to the college and community, and assist departmental activities.

The candidate must be able to teach the following courses:

International Law, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, International Transaction Law, Law of War and Peace

  

Salary

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging between approximately US$45,000~$60,000, negotiable and commensurate with rank, experience and qualification. National medical insurance and pension contributions is provided by the University.
