The Department of Communication & Theatre Arts at Old Dominion University seeks highly qualified applicants for adjunct instructor positions in Interpersonal Communication beginning Fall 2021. We are seeking instructors both for on-campus and online opportunities. Online instructors need not be local

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities: Successful applicants will have experience teaching undergraduate courses related to Human Communication, Nonverbal Communication, Foundations of Group Communication, Family Communication, Interpersonal Communication Theory & Research, and/or Research Methods. Other courses may also be available.

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training: Minimum academic credentials are an earned Master's degree in Communication or an equivalent field.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with:

• Experience teaching
• An earned PhD
