The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at The Catholic University of America invites applications for the full-time position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies.

Responsibilities include the following: Teach undergraduate Spanish language, literature, and culture courses (4:4 teaching load), coordinate beginning and/or intermediate level classes, actively participate in departmental events, and perform service on departmental committees. The requirements are as follows: Ph.D. in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, or related, native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, enthusiasm and proven teaching excellence to provide innovative instruction in face to face and online classes, and commitment to building an undergraduate program and developing outreach initiatives in the Hispanic community.
