  • Description

    The Program Manager works collaboratively with faculty, leadership, and industry partners to drive the planning, implementation, and evaluation of continuing education programs. Responsible for delivering innovative and impactful educational experiences. The program manager will oversee all program planning, sourcing, and liaising with venues, communicating with participants, developing and managing program materials, handling logistics, and on-site implementation of programs. This key position will report to the Associate Director and play an instrumental role in building and managing programs.

    Program Management

    • Implements curriculum in partnership with faculty, partner organizations, and varying industries. Responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring, and managing the continuing education programs.
    • Works with corporations, the associate director, and the business development manager to better understand the company's wants and needs - organizes, monitors, and manages all phases of the customized program.
    • Establishes and maintains professional working relations and communication with the person(s) related to each program.
    • Identifies the program's scope and develops documents outlining key program objectives, goals, plans, requirements, proposals, estimates, schedules, and prices. Makes modifications to plans and schedules, as necessary.
    • Prepares program proposals and contracts in partnership with other organizations or businesses.
    • Monitors contracts and manages program budgets
    • Develops pricing strategies for program offerings and coordinates price points and implementation with other departments as needed.
    • Creates and customizes professional-quality program materials for face-to-face and online sessions
    • Evaluates and updates instructional materials and delivery to keep current with new techniques,
    • Manages the logistical aspects of the design, delivery, and post-phases of customized executive/continuing programs to ensure the smooth completion of the learning journey. Acts as a liaison point between key parties and has direct exposure and involvement in delivering the programs, including educators' lectures and materials, innovative experiential learning methods, online solutions, venue coordination, and transportation logistics.


    Operations

    • Monitors program budget to achieve financial goals
    • Administers and analyzes continuous assessment of programs. Prepares statistical, analytical, and narrative reports to be used for decision-making and program improvement.
    • Maintains updated curriculum database and training records.
    • Handles logistics for customized programs, including reservation of venues, parking, and equipment.
    • Monitors program performance and prepares progress reports.
    • Coordinates the collection and compilation of program activity data; develops, writes, and submits comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports.


    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
    • Minimum of 2-3 years' relevant work experience
    • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills as well as effective written and verbal communications.
    • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and creatively in a fast-paced, agile environment
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to work flexible hours when needed
    • Requires the ability to plan, prioritize, and assign work to meet yearly plans, academic calendars, schedules, and timelines.
    • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to plan, develop and implement projects.
    • Experience managing complex projects to completion on time and within budgetary constraints.
    • Ability to identify client/stakeholder requirements and develop proposals/projects to meet requirements.


    Additional Qualifications & Skills
