Position Summary:

This position is in a research laboratory in the School of Pharmacy's Pharmaceutical Sciences Division. This an opportunity to be part of a research center focused on discovery and development of antibacterial and antifungal agents. This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent technical and communication skills, both written and spoken, due to the multiple labs and disciplines involved with the center.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelors degree required. Preference will be given to applicants with a degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience working in a research lab, preferably analytical chemistry.
A working knowledge of HPLC, MS, and NMR will be necessary, however training on exact protocols will be provided.
This position requires excellent organization skills due to the quantity of data being generated across multiple projects and multiple labs, as well as excellent technical and communication skills, both written and spoken, due to the multiple labs and disciplines involved with the center.
