LEO Lecturer I

The Department of Political Science in the College of Literature, Science and Arts at the University of Michigan is seeking one LEO Lecturer I to teach two courses in each of the Fall 2021 and Winter 2022 semesters. The duration of this appointment would be from August 30, 2021 – April 30, 2022. The appointment effort is considered 67% for two courses per semester and is therefore benefits eligible.

Responsibilities include course coordination and teaching for four upper-level undergraduate courses, with at least two of those courses in International Political Economy and a preference for at least one in International Organization and/or International Law. Regarding pandemic precautions: academic year 2021-22 is currently expected to be in-person, but decisions will be made appropriate to circumstances at the relevant times, and course instruction may also or instead be virtual or hybrid.
