Jefferson College is seeking a highly qualified and motivated full-time faculty member who is student-centered and committed to innovative teaching, academic advising, institutional service, and community service. The individual selected to join Jefferson College’s excellent full-time faculty will demonstrate commitment to assessing and documenting student learning outcomes and using technology in the learning process. Art Faculty responsibilities include teaching studio Art and general education Art classes to AA and AFA students. The successful candidate will be an active artist who is committed to sustaining and growing the Art program. Specific classes taught will be based on the candidate’s areas of expertise and departmental needs. This is a tenure track position.
Qualifications: Master of Fine Arts degree in Art is required. Ability to teach in a variety of media both digital and traditional is required. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience with digital photography, animation and cinematography is preferred. College teaching experience, especially at a community college, is preferred.
