Job Description:

Job Summary

The Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics invites applications for part-time Associate Lecturers to teach the following courses:

Anatomy and Physiology Labs: 

  • Thursday - 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Astronomy: 

  • Tuesday and Thursday - 10:00 am - 11:15 am and 11:30 am - 12:20 pm

Exercise Physiology: 

  • Tuesday and Thursday - 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm

Introduction to Organisms Labs: 

  • Wednesday - 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm - 6:45 pm;
  • Thursday - 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Physics I Lecture:

  • Monday and Wednesday - 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm

Physics I Labs: 

  • Wednesday - 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm - 6:45 pm

The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled.

 

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master's degree is required in the discipline, however a terminal degree is preferred. 
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level. 
  • Evidence of effective teaching to diverse learners and experience in promoting and fostering a supportive learning environment using a variety of teaching methodologies are a plus.
