The child and Family Development program in the School of Human Services at the University of Central Missouri ( UCM ) is accepting applications by qualified individuals to enter an adjunct Child and Family Development instructor pool for fall 2019 and/or spring 2020 to teach face-to-face class at the Warrensburg campus. Possible teaching assignments include: Child and Adolescent Development, Individuals and Family Relationships, Observation of Children or undergraduate courses. Required for office hours each week, 1.25 weekly per course.

Master’s degree in Child and Family Development Human Development and Family Science

Computer Skills Word-Processing, Presentation Experience

Teach introductory course in Child and Family Development. Previous teaching experience and a commitment to teaching excellence is required. Teaching loads may very from three to nine credit hours per semester.

Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Attention to detail, Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Knowledge of a University environment preferred, Human Relations/Interpersonal skills, Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines, Maintain confidentiality Other Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Excellent collaborative skills; Experience with a Learning Management System preferred.
