Under the general supervision of the Planned Maintenance Supervisor, HVAC III Technician, or HVAC II Technician, perform general maintenance work in the operation and repair of assigned equipment. Perform repair work on fan coil units and ventilation fans. Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.

Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent, Formal training (specify) Other Education & Formal Training

Formal HVAC training and/or related military experience may be substituted for the required experience.

Computer Skills Experience

1. Minimum six months journey-level experience in HVAC service, operations, and/or preventive maintenance in an industrial or commercial setting.

-General mechanical and electrical ability.
-General knowledge of systems operations, steam, A/C, plumbing, and refrigeration.
-Ability to read and understand simple blueprints, diagrams, sketches, schematics, and drawings.

Specify sensory abilities: Physical & Environmental Factors: Excessive standing and/or walking, Exposure to extreme temperatures, Exposure to fumes and/or chemicals, Exposure to heights, Exposure to loud noises, Lifting (weight) - 70 lbs Other Physical & Environmental Factors

-Exposure to electrical current
-Work in cramped spaces, hot wet areas.
-Work from ladders, scaffolds, rooftops, may climb light poles, uses bucket truck
