Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Night Maintenance, perform general maintenance work in the operation and repair of assigned equipment. Perform minor repairs and replacements to heating, air conditioning, and/or ventilation equipment. Performs miscellaneous repair and maintenance duties involving plumbing, carpentry, and/or electrical duties to complete work requests.

Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent, Formal training (specify) Other Education & Formal Training

Formal HVAC training and/or related military experience may be substituted for the required experience.

Computer Skills Experience

1. Six (6) months experience in HVAC service, operations, and/or preventive maintenance in an industrial or commercial setting required.
2. Additional experience and skills in the maintenance of various trades; plumbing, carpentry, or electrical preferred.

General mechanical and electrical ability
General knowledge of systems operations, steam, A/C, plumbing, and refrigeration.
Ability to read and understand simple blueprints, diagrams, sketches, schematics, and drawings.
Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
Maturity of judgment and behavior.
Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
