Working hours:

Monday-Friday 7:30am -4:00pm
Occasional nights and weekends

Under general supervision, assemble, install, repair, and maintain pipes, pipe-fittings, and fixtures according to established codes and specifications. Perform a variety of emergency service work to unclog sewer and storm lines, thaw frozen pipes, and repair pipe leaks, using a variety of materials and techniques of the trade. Performs preventive maintenance, as assigned.

-Successful completion or plumbing trade school preferred.
-Plumbing trade school may substitute for required experience at a one year for one year equivalency.

Computer Skills Experience

1. Four (4) years plumbing experience as a seasoned tradesperson required.

Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Criminal History check, Driver's license, Missouri license required Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements

-City of Warrensburg Plumbing License required.

-General mechanical and electrical ability.
-General knowledge of systems operations, steam, A/C, plumbing, and refrigeration.
-Ability to read and understand simple blueprints, diagrams, sketches, schematics, and drawings.
-Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
-Maturity of judgement and behavior.
-Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
-Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
-Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
-Ability to work well under pressure
-Ability to work well alone and in a team.

-Work in cramped spaces, hot areas, wet areas.
-Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts and bucket truck.

-Must obtain pool and spa certification within one year of hire.

-City of Warrensburg Plumbing License required.
