The Communication Disorders Program at the University of Central Missouri ( UCM ) in Warrensburg invites applications for a 9-month instructional faculty member (audiology) with an expected start date of August 2021. Summer teaching may be available.
Responsibilities include:
• teaching 12 credit hours of undergraduate and/or graduate courses per semester, including supervision of student clinicians;
• providing audiological services for the university and local community
• providing service to the program, university, and discipline
Education & Formal Training Master's degree (Specify field(s) of study below) Other Education & Formal Training
Master’s degree in Audiology.
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Presentation Experience
Qualifications:
- Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology ( CCC -A) for a minimum of 9 months prior to employment.
- Hold or be eligible to obtain Missouri licensure.
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Attention to detail, Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Knowledge of a University environment preferred, Human Relations/Interpersonal skills, Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines, Maintain confidentiality Other Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Excellent collaborative skills.
-Experience with a Learning Management System preferred.
