The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (https://liberalarts.tamu.edu/psychology) at Texas A&M University is advertising for a tenure-track assistant professor for a full-time, nine-month appointment, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2022. We are interested in a scholar conducting research in Industrial-Organizational Psychology on the consequences of faking on personality and other assessments within the workplace. The candidate will need to contribute to the doctoral training in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. We hope to recruit a scientist to complement a world-class core of researchers, many of whom participate in cross-cutting research concentrations in affective science, diversity science, and personality processes. The Department is interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community, as well as the educational needs of the population of Texas and the global community. QualificationsA PhD in Psychology or closely related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated potential for publishing high quality research in leading journals and grant-supported research.
