Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist contributes to strategy development and implements marketing projects in support of marketing goals.

With nationally recognized online degree programs, short courses, certificate programs and more, UW Madisons Office of Engineering Professional Development continues to be a pioneer in continuing education. Founded in 1949, we help students learn the technical skills they need to do their jobs better and empower them with confidence and motivation to take their careers to the next level.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field required

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

- Minimum 2 years post-baccalaureate experience in marketing required
-Experience with HTML, CSS and website design software such as Adobe Dreamweaver and WordPress preferred
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) preferred
-Experience with an email marketing program, such as ClickDimensions, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact preferred
- Familiarity with a CRM (customer relationship management) system preferred
