Senior Payroll Analyst
SUMMARY:
The Senior Payroll Analyst will perform a variety of payroll related to the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification, and reconciliation of employee leave information, payroll records, and payment of funds for employees. This position will contribute to maintaining payroll-related data within the payroll system and the successful coordination between various human resources departments.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
• Responsible to ensure internal controls are in place based on SOX audit guidelines
• Process automated time sheets and employee-initiated changes
• Maintain relationships with third party vendors involved in the payroll process
• Establish and maintain processes to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
• Maintain payroll and UTA systems including changes and upgrades
• Analyze and resolves payroll discrepancies and report issues to management
• Provide payroll data/reports as required to various departments, management, etc.
• Revise, balance, and distribute payroll direct deposits, pay checks, and reports
• Participate in the scoping of Payroll and Human Resources related information systems
• Support the accounting team in analyzing expense variances and reducing costs
• May coach and lead junior team members in developing relevant payroll knowledge and skills
• Assist HR and employees with payroll related questions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
• BA/BS in HR, Business Administration, or related field required
• 5-8 years related experience required
• Proficient experience with payroll systems preferred
• Knowledge of ACA regulations preferred
• CPP or other relevant professional certification a plus
• Keep abreast with government, federal and state laws and regulations
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office application (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Advanced data quality and auditing skills
• Able to think critically
• Should be adaptable and able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing business activities and departmental initiatives
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team player and independently
• Well organized and able to prioritize
• Good interpersonal abilities and communication
• Ability and interest to work in a globally diverse environment
