GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Department of Marketing invites applications for full-time temporary faculty positions in Marketing for fall 2021. The department is specifically seeking candidates with expertise in the areas of Advertising and Promotions, Consumer Behavior, and International Marketing.

Responsibilities include a teaching load of three four-credit courses per semester, student advising, and service to the University community. A strong commitment to and evidence of teaching excellence is expected.



Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or Masters in Marketing or a related field is required
  • Experience with or a demonstrated willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research, or service activities that promote the growth of an equitable, diverse, and inclusive academic environment.
  • Ability to teach Marketing courses in the areas of Advertising and Promotions, Consumer Behavior, and International Marketing.


Additional Information:

These are full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible positions in the Massachusetts State College Association (MSCA) bargaining unit at the rank of Assistant Professor. Salary commensurate with experience in accordance with Appendix O of the MSCA contract (http://mscaunion.org/day-and-dgce-contracts/).
