Working Title: Counselor/Student Success Coordinator Official Title: Associate Counselor Employment Class: Non-Instructional Academic Staff FTE: 0.89 Compensation: 55,000 base, 48,950 actual FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: 12-month, Annual, Fixed-Term Renewable Position Summary: This position's primary duties are of a counselor which includes provision of individual and group counseling, crisis management, outreach, training, consultation, and supervision of trainees. This position also oversees the Student Success programming which includes student success coaching, test anxiety, career exploration and development. Responsibilities

60% Provision of direct clinical services which include individual and group counseling, crisis management, adjunctive services and consultation.

10% Coordination of Student Success Programming which includes development, training and implementation of student success coaching, test anxiety resources and career exploration/development.

5% Outreach/Training.

10% Supervision of Trainees.

15% Staff Meetings and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

Master's degree in mental health field.

Ability to be fully licensed in the state of Wisconsin within the first year of employment.

Evidence of multicultural competency.

A minimum of two years experiences of post graduate of provision of counseling to clients.

Experience utilizing positive psychology practices in clinical work.

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred:

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Experience working in a University Counseling Center.

Five years post graduate experience of provision of counseling to clients.
