Job Description:

The Engineering Program at Roger Williams University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering, with a focus on Electrical/Computer and Biomedical Engineering for the 2021/2022 academic year. Successful candidates will teach four multidisciplinary undergraduate course sections in Fall 2021, and three in Spring 2022 in electrical/computer and biomedical engineering, to include circuit theory, digital systems design and laboratory, microprocessors, VLSI, and computer applications. In addition to teaching, the successful applicant will advise students, serve on committees, as well as fulfill other faculty responsibilities. Winter and or Summer teaching if available would be for additional compensation. Appointment would commence August 15, 2021

Requirements:

Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering, or closely related discipline or a master's degree with extensive industry experience. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
